Choosing the location

When choosing an outdoor venue there are several factors you should keep in mind. First, location and condition of the venue will affect your design plans. Is your venue equipped with modern necessities and manicured grounds or is it more rustic with authentic outdoorsy charm? Items such as AV rentals, or lighting rentals can be affected if the location does not have any power outlets. Outdoor locations may also need additional set up time due to difficult load-ins for vendors. None of these factors should stop an outdoor celebration if you plan accordingly.

Furniture selection

After you have chosen your location its important to select furniture that can survive the elements. Outdoor furniture and lounge furniture look sublime when arranged outside keeping in mind that selecting elaborate or ornate furniture for outdoor events can look out of place in the wrong setting. Outdoor furniture rentals can make this process easier because these items look great and are designed to be sustainable in different weather conditions.

Surviving the elements

Whew! You selected your location and furniture, but what about your guests once the party gets started? Many hosts want to make sure that their guests not only have a good time but are comfortable as well. Outdoor events are beautiful, but Mother Nature can have her own plans. What will the weather be like for your event? Outdoor events during the day in the spring, summer, and early fall can be hot and may require fan rental or umbrella rental to protect your guests from the harsh sun. Evening outdoor events in the late fall, winter, and early spring will call for outdoor patio heater rentals. Being mindful of the elements and planning accordingly will ensure that your outdoor event goes off without a hitch!!
